For our advertisement we want to advertise something that our target audience would really want to know about and be attracted to so we decided we were going to go down a club route as we thought it was best to advertise something that most young people like doing and something that we also enjoy so we made a club advertisement.

Before deciding on this idea completely we asked some young people in our target audience age range what they would like to see advertised in a local newspaper and many said local events, youth clubs and night clubs. We also asked there own opinions: many people said that it would be good to have a local paper with advertisements in as it hard to know about whats happening in local clubs as you don't really get to hear about it unless your actually out clubbing or by word of mouth. So we thought it would good to use this idea as we will be saving teenagers time and money as all they have to do is purchase our free newspaper to find out about events instead of actually going out to get leaflets themselves or waiting to hear information from friends.

We went for bright colours green and yellow as we wanted our advertisement to stand out in comparison to the white background we have and from our articles. Our two main colours were Black and white and decided to have black writing on top so it stood out to readers.

On our advertisement we've used a bold heading in green 'vybe' of the name of our club and in bright yellow 'under 18's only as were targeting 15 to 18 years old. We mentioned famous artist such as "jay Sean" so readers would really be interested in going and also mentioned really good dj's that are out as another way of gaining there attention.

We kept our prices fairly cheap as when researching into club advertisements the price raged from 5 to 10 pound so we said £5 before 11 so they knew they were getting a deal and £10 there after so there still being informed that after a particular time the prices on entry change.

After producing our advertisement we showed some teenagers to see what they thought of it and they said it was really good and looks like many advertisement that they have seen or picked up. They also said the the people we mentioned on the leaflet would definitely influence them to go to the club and that the prices and colours were perfect for there age group. Our only criticism received was that we could of had a picture of the club on the advertisement to make it more surreal.
